GODFRINON Ernest
Ernest GODFRINON studied at the Academies of Ixelles and Brussels, and is primarily regarded as a very sensitive and refined Post-Impressionist painter of landscapes, still lifes and intimate genre scenes.
He exhibited one of his paintings ‘Begonias’ at the Galerie des Tout-Petits over the winter of 1925 – but aside from this specific event little is known of his exhibition career.
Godfrinon was a member of ‘Le Sillon’ group and his work has subsequently found its way into the collection of the Charlier museum of Sint-Joost-ten-Node in Belgium.
