The Artist

Katô TATSUO, real name YASABURÔ, was a student of Ôshima JOUN 大島如雲 (1858 – 1940), who taught metal-casting at the Tokyo School of Fine Art and who exhibited in Europe around the turn of the century, together with Nogami RYUKI 野上龍起, (1865-1932), also named Nogami TATSUOKI.
